At the Little Studio, we are all about small-scale learning. We keep our camps smaller with ten students total. Our founder James Carlevatti received a Bachelors of Fine Art from the Columbus College of Art & Design, in Columbus, Ohio. After moving to Charlotte, he has had experience teaching summer camps at The Cornelius Arts Center with ages ranging from five to 16 as well as teaching teen ceramics classes. Additionally, James was a long-term substitute at Charlotte Country Day Middle School, working with 5th and 6th grade. His experience with large and small groups and a variety of ages helps to create a structured yet nurturing environment for students to learn and experiment with their creativity.
